The Coogs, on the other hand, have been spiraling downwards with 4 losses in their last 5 games so they needed to get this win to get moving in the right direction for the 2nd half of the Conference USA season. Imagine that your boss told you that you were no longer allowed to fluff Peter North but you would still be able to receive your bi-curious-weekly paychecks… Okay, you’re right, it doesn’t sound that bad to get paid to sit at home, especially when the salary is $22 million. Regardless, what if Mr. North couldn’t get it up to finish the scene but your boss was still too arrogant to admit that his secretary is not as good of a fluffer as you are so the movie flops, no pun intended. Rice Finds a Way to Lose to a Team That Hadn’t Had a Lead in 5 Games. Fall to Tulane in Overtime.

Last Saturday Rice lost some ground by beating ECU to be overtaken at the bottom by the same Pirates. Aggies Get a Gigantic Win at Mizzou. If You Missed It, I Feel Sorry for You.

This was the biggest game so far for this year’s Aggie team with Missouri sitting at 4-2 in the Big 12, just ahead of A&M at 4-3. More importantly, this was a matchup of 2 “probubble” teams so a win in this game could potentially propel one over the other for the final Big 12 spot in the Tournament. Read more »
Rockets Start February With a Win, It Was Over the Warriors Though So Don’t Get Excited.
Posted in Houston Rockets with tags Aaron Brooks, Carl Landry, Chase Budinger, Corey Maggette, Golden Sttate Warriors, Houston Rockets, Luis Scola, Monta Ellis, Shane Battier, Studinger, Tracy McGrady on February 3, 2010 by multatuli34I could not have been less excited to watch a basketball game. The Rockets have been miserable in 2010 and even worse on this 6-game home stand. And they were playing the 13-7,777 Golden State MontaEllises whos 2nd best player, Corey Maggette, was going to miss another game. I don’t blame Maggette; why would he risk further injury playing for such a terrible team? If I had it to do again, I would’ve followed his example and come down with sudden-onset optical crabs. Now, a lot of people don’t think that means anything, and I would’ve agreed with them until I actually watched this game. Read more »
